English Speaking Acupuncturist
If you are in the Tokyo area and are looking for an English speaking acupuncturist, please come to Sanpodo acupuncture and moxibustion. I’m here for those who need support.
Even in the capital city Tokyo it can be challenging to find a place where you can communicate in English.
Wether you are moving in, on a business trip or even on holiday, it can get very frustrating. Not many practices here could understand your physical complaints clearly. It’s just imply because of the language. My husband is English and is always having difficulty finding a doctor, so I know how difficult it is to live here when you don’t speak Japanese.
I studied in the US when I was a high-school student. Back then my English wasn’t good enough so it was tough. I felt really isolated. Especially when I was ill I felt really lonely. I majored in English at university, became an acupuncturist, worked abroad and now I have settled down in Tokyo to help people like me.
If you are on holiday and trying to do something authentic, try acupuncture and moxibustion! It’s one of the most popular experiences for tourists. Our Japanese needling technique is known to be more gentle and delicate than western acupuncture techniques.
Acupuncture might not be a cure for diseases but it covers a wide variety of physical and psychological symptoms.
And it’s relaxing.
Part of the reason why I have my studio in Shibuya is that it’s a famous location for non-Japanese and everyone know how to get to Shibuya. Sanpodo is located at walking distance from the famous scramble crossing and that cute Hachi dog statue.
Looking forward to seeing you!
